Emergency relief and early recovery project “ Bahaal”

Estimated cost: US $ 513,178

USAID (OFDA) provided relief aid and early recovery assistance for the flood affected in Muzaffargarh district in the form of agriculture inputs and animal feed. PRSP distributed it during Oct.2010 to April 2011 as under;

  • Distribution of agricultural inputs and feed to 1523 HHs.
  • Distribution of Urea (50Kg/bag) to 3,047 HHs and seeds (40Kg/bag) to 1,523 HHs.
  • Provision of WASH and Health Services by construction and/or rehabilitation of 152 hand pumps (1handpump was provided for every 10 HHs), hygiene awareness sessions, distribution of hygiene kits (1kit/HH) to 1,523HHs and mosquito nets (1net/HH) to 1,523HHs.
  • Distribution of Emergency Shelter kits (1Kit/HH) to 1,523 HHs.
